Seek & you shall find! Mirrored picture frames

I am so excited to share with you these Awesome! 8x10 mirrored frames I scored   last weekend. I was being my typical self out and about Saturday just window shopping and hoping to find some major deals. I ventured into Michaels where I picked up a few things and came across these gorgeous mirrored frames. Michaels had them for $49.99 (8x10) and $59.99 (11x14). Now, this girl is all about trying to save money, however  I really wanted this frame and was talking myself into biting the bullet and just getting it 😏. When I went to check out the cashier informed me that the frames were actually 50% off but only til Sunday which I was so overjoyed to hear because this now put the frames at $25 and $30 so I decided to hit a few more shops and swing back by to purchase them. I left Michaels without the mirrored frames and headed for Target and Ross and you guys I am so glad I did! As I strolled through Ross and was about to leave what did I see on a end shelf! ..a lovely 4x6 ....you guessed it...mirrored picture frame the Exact one I had seen earlier in Michaels, now you know my eyes almost exploded from my head! So I went down the picture frame isle hoping to find the 8x10 size and lying there on the very bottom shelf shining and sparkling just waiting for me to find them!..Yup the 8x10 Mirrored picture frames! The one Michaels wanted $49.99 for They had 2 of them left and I grabbed them both immediately and get this, are you sitting down? They were only $11.99 each! I was elated!! I was Happy! happy! Happy! And needless to say I did Not return to Michaels, so ladies always look, search and look again because you may just find the deal of your dreams if you're willing to hunt around. Let me know what you think.
I was able to get 2 even cheaper than 1   at half price at Michaels.......yea!!!!!
                   See only $11.99!!!
Sorry not a great photo. I ❤️ them!

Kitchenaid Makeover!

Hello everyone I'm back, it's been a long time since I've posted anything, however today, I am so excited! To be sharing with you my Kitchenaid mixer makeover. My hubby gave me this mixer for Christmas several years ago and originally it was black, I've since updated my decor and wanted it in a nice bright yellow, but could not justify spending $350-$400 on a perfectly good mixer for the sake of a new color. So check out my DIY on painting my Kitchenaid mixer from Black to yellow and let me know what you think, I was quite pleased with the outcome. It's amazing what you can do with a few cans of spray paint.

Products I ❤️

How many times have you picked up beauty products that you've read raves about (umm huh) only to be sadly disappointed well, I have two products that I absolutely Love. For starters they do exactly what they promise and that's all a girl can ask for. My first fave is Revlon Gel Nail base coat this stuff holds the polish for at least 7-8 days, (at least it does for me anyway) you can pick it up at Walmart, Target or any drug store for around $6-7 bucks, and it works with any nail polish Love this stuff...Loooves it!!

My second Fave is the best $1.99 I've ever spent, at times I suffer from severe dry lips (if I'd just drink more water) and sometimes they crack slightly in the corners ....I know not cute at all, but this stuff is the Business or as Shaquille O'Neal would say "Da Biz-Za-Niss"! It really coats and holds the moisture in/on your lips and heals the cracks! Amen to that! I picked it up at Whole Foods and since it's a Whole Foods product, in store or online would be where you can pick it up,  don't just take my word for it, try it for yourself I'm sure your cracks will thank you!

What are a few of your fav beauty products & why, I'd love to add another thing to my shopping
   list!

Thrift Fashion Finds (Green vintage pants)

What's up guys! I know it's been a long time but I've been working on some things, like my health and really trying to focus on being healthy and active. I can truly say I needed the time to handle my business and focus on myself. Now that I've addressed those issues (and still working on them) I'm ready to resurface to my blog and what better place to start than with a thrift post. These green vintage pants I absolutely love. I found them hanging in my local Salvation Army and I had to have them. When I purchased them I didn't even know what I would pair them with but when I got them home and began to go through my closet I knew this black blazer would do the trick. I paired them with green vintage accessories and Guess patent leather ankle strapped wedges, and the show was over! I love this combo so much (I apologize for the picture quality) it's classy and comfortable and it didn't break the bank total price for pants $3.25. So hit the thrift shops you never know what you might find.

What was your last Thrift purchase?

Fall Must Haves 2012

Wow, where has the year gone? with fall barely 2 weeks away it's time now to start thinking about your fall wardrobe. There are so many items and trends that could really set a girls wardrobe on fire this fall but I have narrowed my list down to what I consider must-haves for fall 2012. Color once again seems to be the trend. Big, bold, vivid color, so here are a few items if implemented into your wardrobe will have you as cool as a cucumber this fall. Blazers are never out of style try one out this fall in a bold color to really add pop to your existing wardrobe the ones here are from Gap and run around $88. Shoes, shoes, shoes a girl can never have enough and I don't know about you but this girl lives for a great wedge, these are from Steve Madden and they also can be found online at Steve Madden.com or at Macy's. To keep all of your items handy you must have a great tote and clutch bags are this years "it" bag, try picking one up at retailers such as Target, Forever 21 and also Thrift shops. And last but certainly not least a plum lip this fall is going to take your look from everyday to runway, try if you haven't already a bold lip color from the plum family feel free to test out the shades to make sure you find one that fits your style and that your comfortable wearing. Here are just a few items that will keep you right on trend this fall when mixed and matched with the right items already in your closet. Don't be afraid to step outside the box and choose colors and patterns you wouldn't normally try and make sure you try them on before you buy to ensure they fit properly and also that you really like them. It takes a little time in the dressing room but is well worth it. I Hope this points you in the right direction and let me know what your must haves are for this fall.
